Greetings Neighbors,
Our annual picnic is almost upon us, and we are looking forward to visiting with neighbors old and new next Saturday, September 13th from 5:00-7 or 7:30 in the Fonthill Park.
The road barricades are ordered, the food vendors are ready, the Seneca Park ZooMobile is set to thrill and educate you with some new furry or scaly friends, and the directories are printing away!
Now we also need you!! Please click here and sign up to volunteer to help make the Home Acres Picnic a success.
Please bring a check or cash ($30) for your Home Acres annual dues or pay at our website:https://homeacres.org/ and then pick up your directory. These important funds go to pay for our landscaping, printing, and event costs.
Helpful Hint:
There is a Waste Management button at the top of our website in case you forget which week it is for recycling. We hope this helps!!
Something New:
Home Acres Daffodil Days!!
Have you seen the Daffodil Project at the Mt. Hope Cemetery? They planted over 40,000 daffodils that create a beautiful, blooming extravaganza in the springtime. We invite neighbors to plant as many daffodils this fall as you can to turn Home Acres’ springtime into something extra special. We will send another invitation with a daffodil bulb counter to see if we can keep track of how many new bulbs we plant.
Besides some extra neighborly fun…it is a bonus that the deer do not eat them!!! We hope you will join in.
Be well,
Liz & Jen
